Master bedroom on second floor of a Cape Cod home is available for a single individual who does NOT have a car, for a short-term lease (from three to six months). The home is located on East-West Highway and shares a driveway with the house next door. There is no room for an additional car. The master bedroom has 2 large closets and 2 dressers and 2 bookcases. There is a private bath with a recently renovated shower. While there is a tub in the bathroom, it is not functional and cannot be used. The owner is a retiree who does freelance work from home during the day and often dog sits a neighbor's dog at home during the weekdays. There is a washer and dryer in the basement. The rent includes utilities and wifi.
Renter will need to show documentation of the department in NIH where he or she will be working, the length of time he or she is expected to be at NIH, and the name of the individual to whom they are reporting at NIH. The house is across the street from a bus stop that goes by NIH. It is a 10 minute (1/2 mile) walk to downtown Bethesda and the Bethesda metro, which is one stop from NIH.
