We are pleased to offer a lovely and spacious bedroom with private access to a bath within walking distance from the NIH main campus in Bethesda.

The bedroom and bath are private and all other facilities are shared with full access to the kitchen plus private use of a separate refrigerator. The bedroom is on its own level and up a few stairs after entering the main doorway. The bedroom has great natural lighting and two very spacious closets. Some perks of the bedroom include an Illy coffee machine, smart TV, queen bed, desk, comfy chair, dresser, and convenient shelves. Since the bedroom sits on its own level at a corner of the house, it is very quiet. There is extra storage available for a bike and luggage. 

The location is super convenient and is only .9 miles (1.4km) to the Old Georgetown Rd NIH entrance.  Two bus lines are also available to the Medical Center Metro station. Given the shared environment of the house, we are looking for someone who values a clean and quiet environment and who will be respectful to the home, neighbors, and the other occupants of the house.

We are a married couple happy to share the kitchen, living room, dining room, laundry room, and lower level family rooms. I work at the FDA and my wife works at an international organization in DC. Our daughter is at University and will be home breaks and holidays. We have a great kitchen with all the necessities including an air fryer and nut milk maker. Access to the house is 24/7. Two friendly dogs are also part of the household. 

Other perks include being close to the Bethesda Trolley trail, YMCA, Wildwood Center (Balducci’s, CVS, Giant Food, Starbucks, Pain Quotidien, and plus many more), and I-495.  Short-term and month-to-month leases are welcome. Free street parking is available.
